Online Personal Training FAQ

Online Personal Training is still new. I get a lot of questions about how it works so I’ve put together some answers for you guys. If you think of more questions, shoot me an email!

What is Online Personal Training?

Online Personal Training is the ability to workout on your own time, with an expert leading you in the right direction. You choose when you want to workout and where, while your coach gives you a workout plan that fits your needs and goals. Each week, you will have a set number of individualized workouts to complete. Your coach is there for any questions or concerns you may have along the way, and all new movements will be communicated via video so that you know exactly what you need to do every day.

RX or Nah?

RX or Nah?

When choosing to scale a workout or complete it as prescribed, what do you base your decision on? Do you copy your workout buddy? Do you ask your coach for advice? Do you go for it and see what happens? When attempting to RX a workout, these questions always come up wether they are voiced or not. However, they should never be the deciding factor.

Kinesiology is the study of the mechanics of a body’s movement. The taping of the muscles and structures initiating that movement has popularized the trend known as kinesio taping. The practice serves to improve pain, performance, and various physical deficiencies by using sticky, elastic tape to decompress swollen and injured muscles. When applied correctly, kinesio tape is able to lift the skin, thereby decompressing the layers of fascia underneath and allowing greater blood flow through the area. In turn, this promotes healing, relieves pain, and speeds up recovery times.
